Birthday Aries Moon - Girl with the Blood Moon Tattoo
written by #astrolocherry

Aries is the astrological ruler of blood - the energy of all life. Royal velvet red blood rushes to her cheeks when she is impassioned, locked, loaded, and ready for anything. She is an archetypal protector of the Feminine, and often fights with a strategy that can make her appear as the enemy. However, every failure has been a victory in itself. She knows who to keep close in order to win the war. And the exile makes her stronger alone.

Lunar cycles spin at rapid speed with the Moon in Aries, and she is rarely granted a moment of peace before the storm begins to stir the surface. She is torn by her emotional need for guidance and understanding, but also the fear of revealing the weak spots that could be used against her in the future. This is a good image of the defence system that the Aries Moon constructs. And it’s quite complex considering the same walls that push people out are built with the early conditioned fear of being unnoticed, unheard, and disappearing into blackness. This remains buried, yet still active in adult life.

The self-aware Aries Moon is focused on learning and affirming a solid identity. By remaining in touch with the inner self, the past is a lesson and manual for the future. She experiments with different conduct, attitudes, and coping mechanisms to moderate her strong reactions without destroying something. It’s like she must find a way to observe herself from a position of damage control, and prevent the chaos that follows when she loses control. It’s almost a case of trial and error, testing the behaviour and watching how people respond to her. She may have felt misunderstood or embarrassed by herself in the early years, much more so than the Solar Aries because the Moon is rather more internalised and reflective. And the Moon in Aries learns quickly, so it rarely takes long for this springtime beauty to bloom. She is not so egocentric, the underlying necessity beneath her behaviour is to connect with people. To have her emotions and experiences acknowledged and validated by others. These qualities can make for a skilled psychologist, psychiatrist, or personality profiler because she has spent so much time learning about herself through observing other people. In the case that she neglects the necessary inner work, the emotional intelligence remains at arrested development. She retains the most primitive aspects of her nature, the inability to decipher emotions or effect on others, disallowing herself to completely feel and shutting herself from empathy. It’s almost impossible for this individual to resolve distress without losing control or self-sabotaging.

Aries descends from the myth of Ares, the son of Zeus and Hera. Ares is notorious for his ferocity and baseless rampages that live up to his God of War title. The Moon in Aries individual is learning how to fan this fire to make magic, rather than burn everything in sight. There is a badge of honour stamped on Ares, she gravitates toward the dangerous and unknown, and the individual upholds this statutory pledge of defence. Hera’s mythology can recite through her by separation or tension with the mother that resolves with age. There is no blood thicker this, and it’s not exclusive to her family. Friends are adopted as family, and she will not hesitate to catapult herself headfirst into dangerous, or even potentially fatal scenarios to protect the people she loves. When such people are not present, she will vehemently and thanklessly defend their name. She is an archetypal expression of old pyromancy; foreseeing prophecies in the flames, omens in nighttime dreams of places burning down or being devoured by fire. Visions, universal intelligence, unfinished crescendos, and chaos to create clay from within her flame. There is the routine descent into the darkness of lost inspiration, the fallen fire angel the ‘burn out’, and melancholia with the imminence in harvest before bursting outward once more renewed in greater valour than ever before. Blood moon mysteries, romantic ripened danger, salvation, truth, and desire,
Now is the time to exalt the carriers of light into the Fire

astrolocherry

Aries Moon: be careful of all those bruises you can’t see, often an emotional sensitivity that breaks their own heart before they understand how to protect it

Taurus Moon: ‘pretends’ to forget with a memory like a museum-forgiving themselves is rarely the hard part, it’s often forgiveness for allowing themselves to accept or be in that situation

Gemini Moon: intellectually processes the event and waits for the feelings they know will show up, day dreams stories to tell themselves and escape emotional distress

Cancer Moon: often some inherent desire for invisibility, records memories based on the way it left them feeling during and after, so it can be up for interpretation at times

Leo Moon: more than often seeking the recognition of one or few people, attempting to “impress” or make them “proud”

Virgo Moon: on a timed crying schedule , reactive to environment - such as finding it difficult to relax in a mess

Libra Moon: emotional intuitive that knows how to read people, and eventually learns how to trust and follow it

Scorpio Moon: often feels no desire to justify or explain to others emotion or decisions based on instinct , has been following such things since childhood

Sagittarius Moon: often still angry at most everyone for being abandoned/let down/betrayed by someone when they were young

Capricorn Moon: inspired out of tired by the fear of being average, secretly - the novelty of being an adult has not completely worn off

Aquarius Moon: abandons before being abandoned, does not like being psychoanalysed and intruded on

Pisces Moon: catches other people’s feelings like colds ,-often enduring post sickness symptoms like coughs and leaky mucous membranes
